Walking through SoHo today I spotted the buddha machine in a store, I was planning on buying a couple more online so I went into the record shop to check out the prices. Turns out there's a new version! For those of you unfamiliar with the Buddha Machine it's a small cheap plastic radio with 9 loops from the ambient duo FM3.
The greatest part of the new Buddha machine, other than 9 new loops and 5 new colors, is it has a pitch control! Which is mind-blowing for anyone who's ever played with one since it's such a simple addition but will add infinite hours to the already addictive little box.
